210 Million Tons is about the excessive garbage the United States is creating and ways we can reduce, reuse, and recycle. This documentary features interviews with a director of solid waste at a landfill, dumpster divers, local authorities, a microbiologist, and several others on this issue.
This documentary was made with another production party Be Reel Pictures for a documentary filmmaking class at Colorado State University. There were two cameras in use, my XL2 and the Journalism Department’s Panasonic which is why the video is split between wide screen and 4:3. The project went really well and the interviewees were an absolute blast to work with.
