Get this spatula to remove the bezel – MUCH EASIER than the spatula I was using in this video! Get the SMALLEST SIZE! http://www.utrechtart.com/Utrecht-Diamond-Shaped-Palette-Knife-MP-03136-001-i1005952.utrecht

Here I will walk you through every step of replacing the polarizer on a Macbook Air LCD – for the newer A1369 & A1466 models. This is the front screen by itself, not the entire assembly.

**edit the video around my mistakes

**speed it up so it looks like I am working faster than I am

**hide or blaze past crucial parts of the repair

**do several takes to get to the one where an easy, perfect repair is done.

What you see is what you’re in for.

Also, some notes – this is not ideal. This recording was the first air polarizer I’ve ever done. I’ve fixed thousands of laptops, but this recording is try #1. So you’re seeing a lot of beginner’s mistakes. If you’re doing this for the first time, you shouldn’t do it worse than this. We’ve been doing this since 2012, but the tech had to go on vacation eventually, and when he did.. I got stuck doing them. Yikes. 🙁
